These Terms of Use govern your use of Marrowbone.
About Marrowbone
Marrowbone is a dog nutrition and health tracking app designed to help owners log meals, monitor weight and activity, and build a clearer picture of their dog’s wellbeing over time.
Using Marrowbone
You must be at least 18 years old to use Marrowbone. You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate, including any information you enter about your dog.
Nutritional information and AI
Marrowbone combines product information from manufacturers, product labels and recognised food-composition references with AI-assisted interpretation to help organise and explain nutritional information.
While we make reasonable efforts to provide accurate and up-to-date information, nutritional data may be incomplete, estimated or change over time. Marrowbone cannot guarantee the accuracy or completeness of every product or recommendation.
Information provided by Marrowbone is for educational and informational purposes only. It should not be considered veterinary, medical or nutritional advice and should not replace consultation with a qualified veterinary professional.
You remain responsible for all feeding and healthcare decisions relating to your dog.
Acceptance of terms
By creating an account and using Marrowbone, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. These terms apply alongside our Privacy Policy and Veterinary Disclaimer.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Please notify us immediately at hello@marrowbone.app if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account.
Use of the service
You agree to use Marrowbone only for its intended purpose, tracking your dog’s nutrition, meals, weight, and activity. You agree not to:
Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service or its infrastructure.
Interfere with or disrupt the service.
Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the app.
Content and data
You retain ownership of the data you enter into Marrowbone, including dog profiles, meal logs and weight records. By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to store and process this data solely to provide the service to you. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter. Marrowbone does not verify the nutritional content of individual raw ingredients beyond published food composition data.
Educational content only
All nutritional guidance, feeding targets, BARF ratio recommendations, and educational content within Marrowbone are provided for informational and educational purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Service availability
The service may be updated, changed, or temporarily unavailable without notice. We aim to maintain a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Marrowbone is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential losses arising from your use of the app, including decisions made on the basis of nutritional estimates or feeding guidance provided by the service.
Intellectual property
All content within Marrowbone, including text, design, graphics, and software, is owned by or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time as the product evolves. We will notify you of significant changes within the app. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Marrowbone Plus and Subscriptions
Marrowbone offers an optional paid subscription, Marrowbone Plus, which provides access to additional features and functionality within the app. Marrowbone Plus may include personalised insights, Nutrition Intelligence, Health Insights, My Dog Over Time, Body Condition Scanner, supplements and routines, reports, care-team sharing, unlimited dog profiles and other premium features made available from time to time.
Subscription options
Marrowbone Plus is available through auto-renewable subscription options displayed within the app. The subscription duration and price applicable to you will be shown before you confirm your purchase. Prices may vary by country or region and may change from time to time. Any changes to the price of an existing subscription will be handled in accordance with the applicable App Store rules and requirements.
Payment and renewal
Marrowbone Plus subscriptions purchased through the iOS app are processed by Apple through your Apple Account. Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each subscription period unless it is cancelled in accordance with Apple’s subscription terms. Payment will be charged to your Apple Account when you confirm your purchase and at each subsequent renewal. Marrowbone Technologies Ltd does not receive or store your full payment-card details for purchases processed through the App Store.
Managing or cancelling your subscription
You can view, manage or cancel your Marrowbone Plus subscription through the subscription settings associated with your Apple Account. Cancellation prevents the subscription from renewing for a further period. Unless otherwise provided by Apple or required by applicable law, you will continue to have access to Marrowbone Plus until the end of your current paid subscription period. Deleting your Marrowbone account or deleting the Marrowbone app does not automatically cancel an active App Store subscription. You must manage or cancel the subscription separately through your Apple Account.
Restoring purchases
Where supported, you can use Restore Purchases within Marrowbone to restore an eligible Marrowbone Plus subscription associated with your Apple Account.
Expiry of Plus access
If your Marrowbone Plus subscription expires or is cancelled, your access to Plus-only features will end when your paid access period ends. Your underlying Marrowbone account and features available without a Plus subscription will remain available, subject to these Terms. Records you have created will not be intentionally deleted solely because your Plus subscription ends, although access to features used to analyse, present or manage those records may differ between the free and Plus versions of Marrowbone.
Changes to Marrowbone Plus
We may develop, improve or modify Marrowbone Plus over time. Individual features may change as the service develops, provided that we comply with our obligations to subscribers and applicable law. We will not intentionally remove paid access that we are required to provide during a subscription period without taking appropriate steps in accordance with applicable consumer and App Store requirements.
Refunds and billing issues
Purchases made through Apple’s App Store are billed and administered by Apple. Requests concerning App Store charges, billing or refunds should be made through the mechanisms provided by Apple, subject to any rights you may have under applicable law. Nothing in these Terms affects any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.
